TeachVault Account Deletion

Last Updated: August 24, 2026

Delete your account (in-app)

If you signed in to TeachVault (Google / Email), you can delete your account directly from the app:

  1. Open TeachVault
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll to Advanced Data Control
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm

Guest mode: If you are using TeachVault without signing in, there is no cloud account to delete. You can still remove local database records and TeachVault-managed photos using Clear Local Records & Photos (see "Data Deletion").

What gets deleted

Outside this flow: Exported/imported documents remain until you delete them separately. Backups or exports in your own Google Drive, iCloud, OneDrive, Files, or another provider account may remain and must be deleted with that provider. Provider retention can also apply.

Timeline

Minimal security marker retained: TeachVault retains the Firebase account UID and cryptographic hashes of the account email/recovery credentials only to stop delayed services from recreating deleted records or restoring old email-based access. It contains no raw email, name, class, student, attendance, backup content, or uploaded file.

Before you delete
